This is a pictorial story of a road trip from London to Nepal in 1973.
Iran was still under the Shah and so was western oriented in dress and manner and we were allowed to travel freely. We entered from Turkey into Tabriz continued through Teheran, up to the coast of the Caspian Sea and then on to Mashad and Afghanistan.
